On the 19th April broadcast of SBS Family Outing, the warm-hearted relationship between Lee Hyori and Kim Jong Kook attracted the attention of viewers. While catching fish, Kim Jong Kook drew boos from the other family members when he took special care of Hyori. While picking flowers, Hyori mimicked Jeon Ji Hyun's My Sassy Girl scene saying, "I'm sorry. When I look at oppa's arm muscles, my heart trembles", which caused Kim Jong Kook to smile gently. The two picked yellow flowers and azalea and like lovers put the flowers on their hair and spend a romantic harmonious time. Lee Hyori kept calling Kim Jong Kook 'Kook Jong' fondly like he is her pet showing a different side to the two. Lee Hyori said "If you compare me to a flower, what kind of flower am I like?" Kim Jong Kook said "A rose, as you are passionate." Later on when asked about Park Ye Jin he said "A lily, white and pure." Lee Hyori said "Why do you see Ye Jin as better?" "Then do you see me as dirty, is that what you're trying to say?" once again creating an awkward atmosphere. However the strange atmosphere didn't end there. Kim Jong Kook put the flowers that Lee Hyori got on his hair, and he also carried Hyori on his back as they went back down. This after Hyori had said, "It's tough going down the mountain. Being carried while going down will be different. If it's Lily (Ye Jin) you'd carry her, wouldn't you?" They were surprised though by Park Ye Jin and Lee Chun Hee sudden appearance with Jong Kook dropping Hyori on the ground.
