But there was to be some embarassement for Joon Pyo or rather the producers of Boys Before Flowers, Group Eight in the aftermath as eagle-eyed netizens pointed out that the necklace was not so unique afterall. It was revealed that the exact same necklace had been worn before by Girl's Generation member, YoonA for her role as Jang Sae Byuk in KBS You Are My Destiny drama and singer Son Dambi. Netizens wrote in jest, "Are you cheating on Jandi with YoonA?", "You made one for Son Dambi also. So you make 'one and only' necklace for your girlfriends?". Others wrote to show their disappointment, "This is excessive and blatant product placement", "Shouldn't the production company have done a better job with getting someone to sponsor a new necklace as a prop instead of re-using something that has been on the market for a while?"
