Mnet Media has a new female R&B duo that is causing quite the ruckus. The new group, Davich (다비치), first received attention due to the fact that one of the members was an internet 'uljjang' (slang term for best face), and now they are receiving even more attention because they have top stars Lee Hyori and Lee Mi Yeon endorsing them. The group consists of Lee Hae Ri (23) and Kang Min Kyung (18). Member Kang Min Kyung has gained lots of attention already after it became clear that she was an internet uljjang, brining attention to the duo long before their debut. The jacket covers for their album have been released with singer Lee Hyori and actress Lee Mi Yeon on them. Lee Hyori and Lee Mi Yeon are also the stars of the music video as well. The music video is going to have the same concept as the movie 'Thelma & Louise', which is about two women shooting a rapist, leading them to run away to Mexico and be hunted by the American police. Because it was confirmed that the two top stars, Lee Mi Yeon and Lee Hyori, are going to be appearing in this music video, fans are expecting a lot from this new group. People are already predicting that this female duo is going to be receiving an award as 2008 rookies. Davich (다비치) is scheduled to make a guest appearance on stage, at SG Wannabe's concert in Tokyo, Japan, on the 27th of this month. Their album is planned for a release on the 28th.
