G-Dragon fans warned each other to be careful with his new album.

His 'Kwon Ji Yong' comes in a USB that's colored red. However, a fan noticed that the red was rubbing off on their fingers, and tried to rub off the excess red with a wet tissue. The red ended up coming off completely easily and they were left with a metal USB. They warned fans about the rubbing off and told other fans to be careful with their USB.

YG said this was intentional and there is a warning on the packaging. The red paint symbolizes the blood from when Jiyong came out of his mother's womb. Fans should already know the concept of this album. it's about his birth, his growth, his journey in the industry and now. If you dont want your paint to come off, simply use a spray sealant. problem solved.

My neighbor is a carpenter, and he sprayed a paint sealant on the USB for me. The red stuff doesn't come off anymore.

My friend bought this. She was rushed to the hospital, as she happens to be deathly allergic to red coloring. A good sealant usually prevents her from having a reaction, but the USB doesn't have that.

actually its intentional and every copy is manually painted and not factory made so it actually cost more - besides there is a warning inside when you buy it

If you're not going to buy it, shut up. If you're a whiny kpop fan/ not even his fan, shut up. He didn't ask you to buy it.

And we didn't want to. We have nothing against GD, in fact we love his music and his effort to express himself in the society where you can't even fart in a different decibel than anyone else. We just pointing out to the die-hard, stupid fans like yourself that you've been duped onto buying an overpriced USB stick with a HYPERLINK to download his songs, not the actual songs itself.

I guess 2017 is the year for people to accept what's given and "shut up". /sarcasm

omg can you chill? Fans just simply wants to inform other fans not to ruin it so the color stays. Stop being a fan extremist.

The paint is suppost to come off intentionally. Representing a part of GD's life. Hand painting is also more expensive then getting it all printed.

I find this so disrespectful on whoever is in charge of production. People don't just pay money for the music - the packaging (especially in kpop) is something people keep and display with pride. This is cheap. Even if their is meaning. But I mean I wouldn't pay for it so I don't care. Do what you want.

Pay for the music, not the packaging. But I am in half-agreement with you. If they're going to sell music in a package, use better packaging!!

are u people seriously so dumb to think they intended to get everyones hands smeared with ink, red at that, and a USB having no paint protection?  i mean i've seen low IQ before but i swear YG stans are lower IQ than Jessica stans at this point.  that is one of the dumbest, harmful(what if u stain your clothes or car seats, etc.), and silliest marketing gimmicks i've ever heard anyone pretend to say.  i'd think they could even get sued for that if it got into a babys mouth or ruined something expensive.  anyways its far more likely they realized the ink comes off before the public did but after it was mass manufactured and they came up with another lie to their low IQ's.  give it time and the USB will probably rust now that it has no paint protection too.

Pay for the music, not the packaging. Unless you're thinking too much into how you get the music, then feel free to blame IQs of anyone that upsets you (entertainment conglomerates that don't give a fudge about your whining.)

I'm not trying to offend, just simply vocalizing my opinion and telling it how it is.
