At the '6th GAON Chart K-Pop Awards' on February 22, DEAN won 'Discovery of the Year' for R&B. The singer went up to accept the award and delivered his speech. However, several fans from the audience screamed at DEAN, telling him to, "Get the f*** off the stage!", "Hurry up and get it over with or I'll kill you", "Just go die."
Netizens shocked by the rude behavior scolded at the fans, commenting, "I'm a fan of an idol group and I love DEAN's music. Which crazy b*tch did that? I'm so angry", "I'm an EXO fan and someone did that to EXO before... I really like DEAN. Did those fans never get educated", "Whichever fandom it may be, the audience should never act that way."
