Former EXO member Tao opened up about his departure from SM Entertainment

On a recent broadcast of Chinese talk show 'Ke Fan Ting Qing', Tao started to explain the reason he left Korea by saying, "I didn't want to live tired like that."

When a question pressed him with, "When were you most hurt?", Tao answered, "When the company made me leave." He further explained, "During a program playing basketball, I injured my ankle ligaments. At the time, I still worked hard because my fans were right there, but the label pressured me to continue on with my schedule even with the serious injury. I was willing to sacrifice for my team, but the limit comes when you go too far."

if you leave the company, just leave. don't act like a baby and tell everyone all of your "hatdship" asking for pity. Hangeng,Luhan or even Kris moving on after their life with SM and doesn't give a fuck anymore

Tao is one of the most whiny idols ever. Seriously just shut the fudge up and enjoy that million dollars you have

If he's hurting he has every rights to say it! Who are you to judge him?? Kris and Luhan don't talk about it because they can take it. And what does his personal fortune has to do with anything? If you are tired of articles about Tao, you can also NOT read them OR tell allkpop not to post about him anymore. No need to be that rude!!

You crazy ass fan girl. You're so blind that you can't even see he's living better than most people in China and probably the world. There are idols who are struggling just to try to get noticed (who probably can sing, act, dance better than him) and he's here complaining about the past for publicity

Oh and kris and luhan hardly talk about it because unlike whiny Tao, they're actual men who can move the fuck on

The thing is the trials were and are still ongoing with him. He left on his own. The company didn't make him leave and all he really needed was a physician over here to say that he couldn't dance. But I don't see how an ankle injury could stop you from singing. Minho from Shinee performed sitting on a throne when they had a comeback. I don't see why something like couldn't have been worked out. What other people seem to forget is that it's the 100% chinese members that left. Each claiming unfair treatment of some kind, but SM never responds with anything so it's always a he said/ she said situation where nobody knows the actual truth. The thing that makes Tao a villain is breaking his contract. He knew what it was when he signed it and he left before getting a lawyer to try and mitigate the problems he was having. Worse, he started to air his dirty laundry out on the net instead of keeping things between him and SM. I was a big Tao fan. The guy is cool and way talented, but I didn't like how he left. Still don't. He was wrong. SM might be wrong too. Don't know because nobody really knows the truth and none of the other EXO members will talk either and I honestly think they chose to stay quiet. I doubt they were told to as other SM people have a bad tendency to say what they think.

75% of the Chinese members left. And this leaves Lay with all the attention from the Chinese EXO-L.

I honestly think that his reasons for leaving is not strong enough evidence to be presented in court that's why he paraded his sorrows in the media. Suing a company takes time and he should've collected more physical evidence to show that he was wronged.
