'1 Night 2 Days' has announced they will not be editing Jung Joon Young out of the upcoming episode.

The variety show said, "We are planning to air the episode without editing Jung Joon Young out." Because there has been no sentence determined yet on the singer, the show will wait to see what the verdict is before making any decisions.

Currently, there are reports that Jung Joon Young has admitted to filming during sex. However, it was not by a hidden camera (some reports say he thought the girlfriend consented), and he deleted the video. Reports claim that he has not turned the phone in question to the police, stating the phone is broken. The prosecutor's office has also stated that they would reexamine the case from the beginning.

If Jung Joon Young leaves the show ( I don't think that will happen), I'll stop watching the show. He is the funniest guy on there! I hope things will work out for Him and other actors that are being accused of sexual assault or harassment. (If they are innocent).

imagine if a member of Girls Generation or Apink admitted to recording during sex, she'd be burned alive for even having sex :/

Jung Joon Young hit the news the morning of the broadcast. Even K-netizens didn't expect him to be edited out since you can't edit someone out 12 hours before the broadcast for an hour and half long program especially since he's an integral member. It's not sexism this time.

WTF! Why they treated Tiffany like a shit but Jung Joon Young not?!!! I was really disappointed when the kicked her out of Unnis Slam Dunk :( I know she did a mistake and K-netizens were offended because it's a national issue, but Joon Young did something disgusting but KBS and 2D1N are ok with that!! wow how sexism!

They haven't decide if they will make him leave the show. Tiffany wasnt edited out in the episode that they had already recorded. They are being treated the same, if JJY is proven guilty then he will probably leave. But he has been proven inocent once and the ex has tried multiple times to get the case closed and doesn't want him to get punished, so it seems like he is inocent. Btw, if it was consented I don't see why it is so disgusting?

But what if one of a kpop girl group did the same as JJY did and she's innocent how do you think they will treat her?

sexism lemme ask u something do u know how long it takes to edit these shows. netizens themselves werent expecting them to edit out jjy since it take time to create the broadcast. in any case it not really sexism. as for tiffany case it different because viewers were already antsy with her since she hasn't appeared in x amount of episodes dues to schedule conflict and the flag thing blew up so they had to react quickly..... as for the jjy incident he will most likely get punished or forced to leave the shows he in go into hiding and comeback in like a year or 2

Yeah I understand how hard editing is, I agree with you in this point, buy I'm not talking about editing what I meant is if they are going to keep him in variety shows after this scandal why they kicked Tiffany out?

as i said earlier viewers off the show were already antsy with tiffany because she was rarely dare and her incident force her to leave. jjy in a press conference concerning this scandel mentions he willing to accept any punishment IF the shows he on decide to kick him out. so it like the same scenario with tiffany only different scandels

They bitched because she wasn't there that much and when she finally got her schedule clear so she COULD be there, they reward her by kicking her off. I stopped watching the show. I don't have time for two faced morons like that.

The double standard is sooo obvious ~~ a girl made a mistake with filters people go all "leave this country !" "You're an embarrasedment to country" and all those witch hunt and getting out of shows and stuff while a guy do something that's actually messing with Law and things are as far as police are involved and may or may not be considered sexual harassment and they won't even edit him out wow ~ ( I m not saying he should be edited out or get him out of the show nor do I have anything against JJY but just emphasizingthe double standard ) -_-

He's been proven innocent on charges of sexual assault, but his ex is now accusing him of harassment for filming during sex, which on his part, he admitted to having a sex tape but that it was consensual and that she was well aware of it. I totally agree that Tiffany shouldn't have been told to leave the show based on her mistake, but her mistake was something evident and that evidence spread like wildfire. In JJY's case, he hasn't been charged with sexual harassment as of now so he is innocent until proven guilty, but if he is guilty (hopefully not), he would receive heavy criticism by people and most likely get kicked off the show (Lee Sugeun and Kang Hodong were kicked out for their scandals). Also, Tiffany's case was a matter of patriotism which is a significant matter in Korea. Jay Park wasn't even kicked out a show, he was straight up kicked out of his group for saying that kpop was gay years before his debut on social media and Koreans were offended by that (not that I agreed with the hate he got either).

Oh and I also am aware of double standards in Korea as I am a Korean woman and get unfairly treated against my brother, so I'm not trying to prove you wrong on that! I just think that Tiffany and JJY cases are handled differently because of different circumstances. Just hope that gives you a different perspective!
