8 amazing dance breaks by female idols

misc.

Dance breaks are awesome, there's no doubt about that!  'Family Guy' might ridicule this with "random dance break~~" but c'mon, this is a time for the dancers to shine!  They "break it down" and show off their poppin', their wavin', their you-name-it.  Check out some of the best dance breaks by female idols in K-Pop down below! (Note: Special dance breaks for special performances or concerts were not included, dance breaks have minimum singing, and just one dance break was chosen per artist.)

TWICE's "Like OOH-AHH"

Who doesn't get all psyched when they go right into this dance break?  And each member gets to shine - not only the badass Momo - when they cutely mix things up to keep your interest!

HyunA's "Change"

At around 2:30, HyunA goes into her badass dance break, which is actually a pretty decent amount of time.  This was the beginning of all her solo dance breaks!

EXID's "L.I.E"

The same dance break happens in the middle and end of the song, but the end includes a sexy little dance number by maknae Junghwa, and you gotta say that the tugging-at-hair move is playful, flirty, and fetching.

Lee Hyori's "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang"

Simple but memorable and infinitely sexy at 2:15.  The sexy queen of K-Pop knows how to shake, body wave, and chest pop.

G-Friend's "Rough"

They have two, one in the middle at 1:00 and one nearer the end at 2:30.  For the mega epic one closer to the end, everything from the ripple effect of their legs at the beginning to their arms making V's at Yuju's ad-lib is synchronized and at the level of a boy group.

BoA's "My Name"

Aside from the fact that her pants are super, super low here, your attention will be super riveted on the fact that this girl can shake it at 2:25!  As possibly the K-Pop Queen of Dance, it is hard to even pick just one good dance break from this top star.

Girls' Generation "Catch Me If You Can"

This is another song that is interspersed regularly with the same dance break.  You can see it at 1:30, but you'll probably watch the whole dance anyway cause it's just epic throughout. No work was done by construction this day.

SONAMOO's "Deja Vu"

The dance starts off with one at 0:40 then goes into another at 2:45 and both are super awesome. The girls go full on hip hop with their sweet dance moves.  Even the end provides a few seconds of cool dancing.
