Global phenomenon 'Squid Game' has once again achieved a record-breaking feat.
'Squid Game' once made headlines when season 2 of the show hit #1 on the streaming charts in all 93 countries, only 8 months ago. Now, the hit show has done it again. 'Squid Game' season 3 has achieved the top spot for all 93 countries on the charts, and has maintained that #1 spot every day since its release one week ago. This is the first time a show has ever achieved that feat in its debut week.
Outside of its chart performance, 'Squid Game' has also received a record-breaking number of views. With over 60 million views in its debut week, 'Squid Game' Season 3 has earned the second most views for a show in its premiere week, according to Netflix. Only 'Squid Game' Season 2 had a higher number of views (68 million) in its first week.

The final season of 'Squid Game' follows original protagonist Gi-hun as he continues in his quest to finally put an end to the deadly games. Following a failed rebellion and the devastating loss of a close friend in the previous season, Gi-hun must now continue to participate in the increasingly dangerous games. Ultimately, the show promises to come to a shocking and emotionally intense finale.
Though audience reviews have been mixed so far, Squid Game's chart-topping success has now been recreated for an astonishing third time, indicating that the high-quality drama and suspense of the show remained consistent throughout all 3 seasons.
