On July 5, industry sources confirmed that actor Kim Jae Wook will appear in the upcoming drama 'Secret Audit' (working title).
'Secret Audit' is an office romantic comedy that follows the quirky and unpredictable happenings within the audit office of a large corporation. The story centers on Noh Gi Jun, a former ace auditor who gets demoted to handling workplace misconduct cases, and Joo In Ah, a tough and eccentric team leader with a mysterious secret. Together, they uncover the tangled web of office romances and scandals. Shin Hye Sun and Gong Myung will star as Joo In Ah and Noh Gi Jun, respectively.
Kim Jae Wook will play Jeon Jae Yeol, the executive vice president of Haemoo Group. Jeon Jae Yeol is a rare kind of wealthy third-generation heir who has both talent and character. Despite his seemingly perfect life, he carries a painful family history. His character meets someone he wants to spend the rest of his life with, but ends up in a bittersweet romance. Kim is expected to bring depth and emotion to the role with his signature expressive performance.
Kim Jae Wook made his acting debut in 2002 with the MBC drama 'Do It Your Way,' and rose to fame through 'The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince.' Since then, he has taken on a wide range of roles in dramas such as 'Bad Guy,' 'Voice,' 'Temperature of Love,' 'The Guest,' and Her 'Private Life,' showcasing his versatility as an actor.
Most recently, Kim appeared in the historical Netflix series 'Dear Hongrang,' released in May, where he portrayed Prince Hanpyeong, the king’s only brother and a devoted lover of the arts during the Joseon era. His performance once again affirmed his strong presence on screen.
Details about the channel, platform, and official release date for 'Secret Audit' have yet to be announced.
