On April 19, Seoul's Southern Regional Police Department revealed that GM Music filed lawsuits against 'Produce 101's Choi Eun Bin for contract violation and scamming.

According to reports, Choi Eun Bin visited GM Music at the beginning of 2016 and said she wanted to be part of rookie girl group Black Swan. However, Choi Eun Bin had already signed with Nextar Entertainment back in 2011. It turned out that she was a trainee at Nextar for 4 years, but transferred to GM Music as she found no hope at Nextar.

Then, following the label transition, Choi Eun Bin participated in Mnet's 'Produce 101', where she introduced herself as a Nextar trainee. However, GM Music was her actual supporter, and they claim that ever since she started receiving attention, she left the label with no notice, and is currently unreachable. As a result, GM Music decided to file a lawsuit because Choi Eun Bin showed no desire to return to Black Swan or the label.

Currently, netizens are in great shock following reports of this legal battle between GM Music and Choi Eun Bin.

I'm sorry, I'm confused. Black Swan is under Nextar. Why did Choi Eun Bin have to join GM to be part of Black Swan? Another AKP article I don't understand. Could someone clarify?

Who even is GM? They must be lying, because BlackSwan was Nextar's project, and Eun Bin was in the group that debuted two years ago? And then the other member of BlackSwan left for health reasons. Eun Bin was even on SMTM..? Where did GM come in, exactly? Because if the math is even correct, her contract ended in 2015, and by then Produce101 was probably already asking companies for trainees. If anything, she probably renewed her contract with Nextar. And how could she have even approached GM Music at the beginning of 2016, when the show had started filming? That doesn't make sense. Besides, BlackSwan already debuted so she wouldn't have asked to be back in a group that had to disband. What nonsense. Just trying to get money from an innocent girl as always. Pathetic.

i dunno..if they are that wrong (so wrong that even you easily spotted it), would they really sue her and take the matter to court where obviously they would fail?

It just doesn't add up. This is just weird, and it seems very off. It is more than probably fake, and this company is just trying to get attention by going after her since she was popular on Produce 101. But those are just my thoughts based on information I know, like about BlackSwan and that situation. Whether she ever did really sign with GM, nobody can actually say for sure.

The article could be total bullshit. It wouldn't be the first time.

As a fan of EB for about a year and a half now, including when she WAS IN BlackSwan, this seems like BS. BlackSwan was a duo which according to fans, the company, and all the literature available, was created by Nextar Entertainment. Jessi, the other member of the duo, left due to health reasons in 2015. EB went on SMTM and made it through to the next round, but then left "to prepare for debut". Next thing we knew, she was announced as part of pd101. Nowhere in any of this did that GM company ever factor in. In her teaser before the show, it was two staff members from NEXTAR who spoke about her/were on camera. A quick search shows no evidence that GM Music even exists. This looks like an attempt to slander EB - in what world would she have approached GM Music in the beginning of 2016 saying she wanted to be part of BlackSwan when she was already part of BlackSwan since 2014??

If GM Music has enough evidence that she signed up as their trainee and can show that they were her back-up for Produce101, she's f*cked. Her career's over if that's the case. BUT if GM Music cannot back up their claim, f*ck them! They are ruining a girl's image even before she can start.
