KIm Soo Hyun's half-sister and 'Produce 101' contestant Kim Joo Na, who made headlines for being related to the actor even before the show started airing, shed some tears as she talked about her parents.
Kim Joo Na said, "My mom told me to quickly wake up and look at the articles that were out," explaining how news of her being Kim Soo Hyun's half-sister had spread like wildfire.
She then tearfully added, "I was hurt. There's misunderstanding everywhere. I don't care if they say bad things about me but when they do that to my parents....I was so hurt."

After composing herself, Kim Joo Na determined, "I wanted to be known for music but I became known as someone's sister first. I hope that misunderstanding is resolved soon and that I would be recognized for my talent instead. I really want to show myself doing well. Not by the help of someone else."
