Lucky J consists of J'Kyun, Jessi (Jessica H.o.), and J-Yo, and their group name is based off the gambling jargon 'lucky 7' with the 'J' added to represent their names. They will be making their debut under YMC Entertainment, which is also home to Wheesung, Ailee, and Baechigi, so we can expect another batch of talent to enter the K-pop scene.
A YMC Entertainment rep stated, "The group name means we wish good fortune for everyone who loves our music. Each of the members brings a different charm and music style rooted in hip hop. We will show various genres of hip hop in our own Lucky J style."
Some of you may be familiar with Jessica H.o. from her previous scandals, from assaulting a woman at a club, to calling BoA a B*tch. In any regards, the Lucky J trio is set to make a debut on July 17. Are you excited for this upcoming rookie group?
