LOEN Entertainment will be converting their artist management and music production business into a multi-label system.

LOEN Entertainment stated on the 24th, "We will be reorganizing our unified production business, which we've been running for the management of current artists, into separate labels, and through continued investment, we aim to expand our production business."

There will be two labels under this multi-label system: 'LOEN Tree Label' and 'Collaboddari Label'. LOEN Tree Label will be under the direction of producer Cho Young Chul and it will house IU, Sunny Hill, History, Kim Suk Hoon, and Jo Han Sun.

Collaboddari Label, on the other hand, will be under the direction of none other than hitmaker Shinsadong Tiger. It will include a lineup of Zia and FIESTAR.

The multi-label system will allow each to bring something different to the table in terms of content with different genres of music and style with two talented producers as their heads.

I wish LOEN would put all their artists under one name while creating another label that houses all the interviews, shows, etc. that they do with OTHER artists because it's kind of confusing :/

So, LOEN having sold by SK Telecom to a Hong Kong private equity firm is restructuring to increase their revenue anyway possible. We will see how it goes.

True, you are starting to see consolidation of labels that happens in nearly all major music markets as bigger labels buy out smaller ones to acquire new artists or smaller ones sell simply because they know they can't compete against the bigger companies or actually realize their prize artist will have better success with a bigger label backing them.

Soo....this doesn't mean subsidiaries or anything so at least the company tree won't get as confusing as JYP

When I read this article, the first thing that comes to my mind is, WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO SON GA-IN! Where will she be in? Oh nooo.... Please, I want to see her perform as a solo artist under this LOEN company happily. I know NEGA Network handles her group, Brown Eyed Girls. But her solo activities was sign under LOEN. Now what?

It's probably just an oversight. I think there are some other Loen artists that weren't mentioned. Even if Ga-In ends up not staying with Loen, she will land somewhere, as she has had some solo success.

People asking about Gain are right, Gain signed with Loen a while back as a solo artist, but they didn't seem to mention her so idk which label she's under right now.

Stop replying Nega, she's under a different label for her solo activities -_-.
