Attention K-pop enthusiasts! The upcoming July 7th broadcast of SBS' 'Inkigayo' that you've all been waiting for will not air today following the tragic Asiana Airlines plane crash that occurred on the 6th.

An SBS representative announced, "A special report on the plane crash is set to air in the 'Inkigayo' time slot. Following the plane crash, we feel that the celebratory atmosphere of the music show does not match with the public sentiment so we made this decision."

2NE1, A Pink, Dynamic Duo, and MYNAME were scheduled to make their comeback stages as well as Ivy who planned to hold her farewell stage. The artists have already pre-recorded their stages and it has been revealed that only those who were present at the venue will be able to see the stages as it will not air.

it's understandable that inkigayo got canceled due to this incident and i pray for those involved... people who are bashing inkigayo for canceling their broadcast seriously need to get their priorities straight. ;

Two people died, and they were both teens. You wouldn't know how hard it was for their families, since one of the teens' parents were all the way in China. I live a few minutes away from SFO, maybe 10-15, and it was the first time in a very long time that an actual plane crash has happened at the airport. Many people had to go to different airports (like at Oakland and San Jose) just so they could get a flight. It was very devastating, just by looking at the pictures. Also, I think there were about 30 children that were involved in the crash as well. Because the airport isn't even in San Francisco, I'm not sure which hospital the passengers were sent to. It would take 20-30 minutes at most to get to the actual city. So, please ;be a cooperative and respectful fan and send your condolences to the ones involved in the plane crash. ;

People need to be more sensitive. You sound immature as hell, and really need to reevaluate your priorities if you really think you cant go a day without seeing Inkigayo. Suck it up. People died. Some people are not paralyzed. And judging from what i read, they way the girls died was NOT pleasant. ;

Even though I'm a Blackjack, I can watch 2NE1 anytime anyway.

Others should be more sensitive about this since many people were injured and two were dead. Please pay respect. ;

Over 290 people at least are injured, they're all injured whether physically or emotionally. 2 dead. A high school group from China was aboard the plane as was Samsung Executive, David Eun. Maybe some of you aren't fully aware of what happened because it wasn't on your local news (seeing as I live in California), but have more respect. Don't create a bad image for Kpop fans.

OMG. Are you guys serious. Are you really that into kpop that you rather watch your favourite idols than thinking about what happened yesterday? Like we're talking about lives here and ;we shouldn't be joking around with this. 2 Chinese Teens died. Teens. What happened if you were on that plane and we wanted to see inkigayo instead. Would you like that? NO. And you guys rather watch the pre-recording of 2NE1 that bad that you wish that "YGE could acquire the pre recorded performance from SBS and aired it on their own channel? like this, there will be no celebratory tone while people can still get to see the performance? ain't i'm right?" - quote by someone. Do you know how painful to lose someone close. They were young and ;unfortunately, they sat in the back and died. If you wanted to watch 2NE1's performance that badly, why didn't you go to Seoul and watch it in real life? My condolences go out to those people that were involved in the accident. ;

Btw: Asiana Airlines is sponsoring YG for the rest of 2013. I don't think they would start a war. ;
