Her father, Lee Soo Young, is the elder brother of Mr. SM (CEO of SM Entertainment) and is also the representative of Sugar’s company. She also trained with Sugar for five years before training with SM Entertainment/SNSD. Even before the groups’ debut, the most talked about rumor that left all fans curious was if Sunny (born Lee Soon Kyu) really was his niece. It was only a matter of time until all the new rumors and hate would spread from her confirmation of their blood ties.
