Jun.K talked about why he'd suddenly changed his name from Junsu to Minjun back in October of 2012.
All the 2PM members were guests on 'Radio Star' to talk about various subjects. When asked why he'd changed his name, Jun.K answered, "It was a family thing. Early last year, my father passed away. There was something he wanted and there's a family meaning behind the name. Because of the situation, I had no choice but to follow it. My real name changed from Junsu to Minjun."
He added, "Also before that, I'd used Jun.K for my solo activities such as OSTs and songs. So I changed to that name for my promotional activities."
