Rapper Lee Young Ji shared a humorous take on the “shock” she experienced after seeing a two-shot photo with singer Kwon Eun Bi, drawing laughter with her candid and self-deprecating remarks.
On December 25, a video titled 'My Long-Lost Sister Lee Young Ji' was uploaded to the YouTube channel CharlesEnter. Lee Young Ji appeared as a guest and brought up a two-shot photo with Kwon Eun Bi that previously went viral online during the ending stage of the 'Gayo Daejejeon.'
Recalling the moment, Lee Young Ji explained, “She was a solo artist and I was also solo at the time, so we thought, since we’re both on our own, let’s stand next to each other during the ending stage.” Before revealing the photo, she jokingly warned, “Don’t be shocked,” adding, “Doesn’t this make no sense? Honestly?”
The photo in question had drawn attention on online communities for making Lee Young Ji appear noticeably larger in frame, while Kwon Eun Bi looked comparatively petite. When CharlesEnter tried to console her by saying, “Isn’t Eun Bi just small?” Lee Young Ji burst out laughing and replied firmly, “One person looks small, and one looks big. If I could turn back time, I would never stand next to Eun Bi sister again,” sending the studio into fits of laughter.
She went on to clarify that the image was misleading, saying, “In real life, it’s not like that at all. It’s completely normal. If anything, you might even feel a bit disappointed,” emphasizing that the photo exaggerated the contrast.
During the same video, Lee Young Ji also spoke openly about negative comments related to her appearance. “I hear a lot about my head size,” she admitted, adding, “Comments like ‘your face is brutal’ only hurt when you see them once or twice. There will probably be comments like that on today’s video, too.” Her remarks reflected a calm and resilient attitude toward online criticism.
Meanwhile, Lee Young Ji has recently returned to social media after a six-month hiatus, drawing attention with a noticeably slimmer appearance. Her transformation and renewed activity have continued to spark buzz among fans and netizens alike.
