Lee Hyori saves 'Kongshim' from being euthanized

Singer Lee Hyori, who's known for being a passionate animal rights activist, has helped prevent 'Kongshim' from being euthanized.

On October 22nd, the singer introduced the dog, whom she named 'Kongshim', via Twitter, writing, "I felt sad because [Kongshim] looks very similar to Soonshim. I couldn't just let her be euthanized, so I brought her home. But... Hm... Now that I see the two together... Hm..."

She then left another tweet, hoping to find a good home for Kongshim: "I'm waiting for somebody to adopt our Kongshim... This is my first time seeing such a gentle, nice dog. She doesn't bark and goes bathroom on the pad. She doesn't make a mess when eating and also has a lot of aegyo. She's a 3-year-old female dog."
