After concluding a successful first half of 2011 with "Pinocchio" and "Hot Summer", f(x) thanked fans and reflected on their achievements through an interview with Star News.
With a smile, the girls began, "We feel like we've spent a year we'll never be able to forget. For the first time since our debut, not only did we win #1 with 'Pinocchio', but also a triple crown. It's our first official album so it makes everything that much more meaningful. We're glad that people supported us and enjoyed our music."
When asked to choose a memorable moment, they replied, "We'll never forget the moment where we all cried together with our first win. We were all so glad and we just began thinking of all of the faces who helped us. Once again, we'd like to thank everyone for supporting us. We'll never forget our gratitude and work hard."
They continued, "There's also the fans who always visit our performances and fan signings that we'll remember forever.. and the support letters and presents we received for each of our birthdays. Thank you so much."
As for the rest of the year, the girls will be focusing on individual activities. f(x) concluded, "We felt once again that we were communicating with our fans through music. For the second half of the year, we'll be pursuing individual activities in a variety of different areas, so please look forward to us."
