Recently, allkpop reported that girl group SNSD had reached #2 on Japan's Oricon Singles Chart, right behind Jang Geun Suk. Well, on April 29th, SNSD came up to #1 with their third Japanese single, "Mr. Taxi", which was released on April 27th. On top of this, SNSD has also placed 1st on Japan's mobile download site "Recochoku" and on Japan's iTunes Singles Chart - showing that the group is receiving much love in Japan. "Mr. Taxi" is a new song that was not previously released in Korea. The song has been receiving much attention from music fans not only in Korea and Japan, but from fans all over Asia. Meanwhile, SNSD will start performing on May 31st in Osaka and tour throughout Japan until July 17th for their Arena Tour Concert. They plan to perform in front of 100,000 fans.
