E-TRIBE will not be taking legal action against Lady Gaga's "Born This Way"

After acknowledging the similarities between Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" and SNSD's "Be Happy," producing team E-TRIBE (the composers behind "Be Happy") have revealed that they will not be taking legal action. Previously, E-TRIBE announced ,"I do feel that there are similarities. The way the song flows and the arrangements are, honestly, the same. I am currently working to get in contact with Lady Gaga's publishing label to find further information." On March 21st, An Myung Won of E-TRIBE stated, "Those around us say that Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' plagiarized SNSD's Be Happy,' so I did check it out.� For now, we don't have plans of taking any action." He continued, "It is true that the song's flow and arrangement are similar, but after discussing it further with various other professionals, opinions remained divided.� There are too many convoluted parts to nail it as plagiarism, so we'll be discussing further options calmly."
