Star-studded cast of Waving the Korean Flag holds a press conference

With the aim of elevating the infamous Korean spirit for the upcoming 2010 World Cup South Africa and in support of the South Korean soccer team, the new program titled Waving the Korean Flag held a press conference at Seoul SBS Building this afternoon. The stars who will be on the show attended the event as well, including Lee Hwi Jae (MC), Kim Min Joon, Lee Young Eun, Jang Yoon Jung, Hwang Hyun Hee, Narsha of BEG (she was late!), Jung Jin Woon of 2AM, Leeteuk of Super Junior, and last but not least HyunA of 4minute. Quite an ensemble of stars from different paths. Producer Lee revealed, "We began the production way back in February. We thought about how can we create a successful movement that would both help the soccer team and the fans with the help of the stars? Because South Africa is such a faraway country and at the same time very remote with Korean residents, we felt that Korea would not be much people cheering on the country." It has so far been reported that the program will be more of a documentary than a variety program. The show will debut it's first episode in mid-May. [gallery]
