Actor Byeon Woo Seok is once again receiving widespread praise for his personality after appearing on comedian Yoo Jae Suk’s talk show 'Pinggyego.'
On April 4, Byeon Woo Seok appeared in the YouTube video titled 'Destiny is Pinggyego' on the channel DdeunDdeun, where he promoted the upcoming MBC Friday-Saturday drama together with singer and actress IU while sharing various stories during the conversation. After the video was released, the comment section quickly filled with new stories highlighting his kindness, drawing renewed attention to his character.
One netizen, who said they had known him during military service, left a comment recalling how Byeon Woo Seok once offered encouragement during a difficult period. The user wrote, “I knew how hard you were working so I told you things will get better soon, stay strong,” adding that those words gave them great comfort at the time. They also expressed happiness seeing his continued success after discharge.
Another commenter, who identified themselves as a former on-set manager, shared a separate memory from before he became widely known. Meanwhile, Byeon Woo Seok will star in the upcoming MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Perfect Crown,' a romance series set in a constitutional monarchy version of Korea that explores themes of social class and identity. The drama is set to premiere on April 10.
