NCT's Doyoung has left fans a touching message ahead of his military enlistment.
In the MV teaser for his special solo single "Promise," Doyoung sings a sorrowful yet gentle melody, paired with the poignant lyrics: "Left after leaving just the words 'I love you.'" Alluding to his December 7 KST enlistment, the song stands as his final gift to fans before their temporary separation due to mandatory service.
As reported, Doyoung shared a heartfelt message with fans before his departure, and with the release of this new teaser, fans have been responding with emotional comments such as: "I hope he checks the music chart rankings every time he gets his phone and that he also checks the comments here," "Hey everyone, don't switch over to anyone else. We all have to wait for Doyoung," and "We honestly have nowhere else to go… We’ll be here waiting for you forever, so don’t get sick and stay safe while you’re away."
The full song and MV will be released on December 9 KST.
