Doyoung of the group NCT has shared a heartfelt farewell message to fans just one day before his military enlistment, asking them to refrain from visiting the enlistment site.
On December 6 KST, Doyoung posted a long message on the fan communication platform Bubble. He began by saying, "Today, with the time to say a brief goodbye to NCTzens just one day away, I am writing a few words because there are feelings I want to convey."
Reflecting on his career, he expressed deep gratitude to his fans, NCTzens. He stated, "I think I was able to endure, persevere, and come this far thanks to NCTzens who supported me for nearly 10 years, or perhaps even longer," adding, "I believe that invisible love, coming from I don't know where, raised and nurtured me."
Doyoung then cautiously made a request regarding his enlistment day. He asked fans to support him from afar rather than visiting the site, citing concerns for other recruits and their families.
He explained, "I have a wish that you would support me from a slightly distant place rather than coming to see me up close. I became a little worried that those enlisting together with me, or everyone accompanying them, might feel uncomfortable if the situation becomes chaotic."
He continued by emphasizing the bond he shares with his fans. "Although the situations I worry about might never happen, there has never been a single moment where our relationship wasn't beautiful to me," he wrote. "I believe the time we spent striving to protect that beauty clearly exists." This explained his desire to ensure a respectful temporary farewell.
Concluding his letter, Doyoung shared his hope for a relationship built on trust. He wrote, "In this complicated and chaotic world where trusting someone is difficult to the point of fear, I hope that we, at least, can be a relationship where we trust each other without fear."
Doyoung is set to enlist in the army band on December 7 KST.

Hello. It is Doyoung.
Today, with the time to say a temporary goodbye to NCTzens just one day away. I am writing a few words like this because there are feelings I want to convey.
I think I have been able to experience, endure, and make it through thanks to NCTzens who supported me for nearly 10 years, or perhaps a little longer. I believe that love I could not see with my eyes, appearing from I don't know where, raised and nurtured me.
I always tried to express it, but I am sorry if it was insufficient. Thank you so much once again.
I have something I want to say cautiously.
Regarding tomorrow which is coming soon, I have a wish that you would support me from a slightly distant place rather than coming to see me up close. I became a little worried that those enlisting together with me, or everyone going with me, might feel uncomfortable in a chaotic situation.
Although the situations I worry about might never happen, our relationship has never been unbeautiful to me for a single moment, and I believe the time we exerted efforts for that surely exists. That is why I wanted to say this even more as we face a temporary end.
I hope my heart is conveyed fully well, and I hope this thankful heart of mine toward NCTzens is conveyed without misunderstanding.
In a world that is complicated, dizzying, and where trusting someone is fearfully difficult, I hope that at least we can become a relationship where we trust each other without fear.
