Jackson greets fans around the world with the release of his new autobiographical album "MAGICMAN 2", along with the music video for its title track "Made Me a Man."
Entirely self-written and produced, the album is a bold evolution of Jackson’s alter ego—the "MAGICMAN" persona—serving as both a continuation of his 2022 album "MAGICMAN" and a standalone work with its own message. Once a mask to conceal his darkest emotions, "MAGICMAN" now becomes a channel for Jackson to reveal his truest inner self.
The album is divided into chapters representing four emotional stages: denial, loss, the realization of pain, and healing. Through this structure, Jackson navigates a path of inner reconciliation.
“For the first time, I made music for myself,” Jackson shared. “Rather than chasing commercial hits, I focused on artistic honesty.” He added, “This album is like turning my diary into music. It’s about embracing both the light and the dark. That’s what 'MAGICMAN 2' is.”

The title track "Made Me a Man" brings the album’s journey to a close, using restrained lyrics and a minimalist sound to express its emotional arc. The music video, released alongside the album, visually portrays Jackson’s transformation—from isolation and confusion to clarity and peace.
Global fans had already shown enthusiastic support ahead of the album release through pre-release singles. "High Alone" topped Apple Music charts in 22 countries, while "GBAD" surpassed 32 million views on YouTube, sparking a wave of global remix activity. His collaboration with Indian superstar Diljit Dosanjh on "BUCK", and his most recent track "Hate to Love", also garnered significant attention—cementing Jackson’s position as a global pop force.
Jackson initially rose to fame after winning first place in a JYP Entertainment audition out of 2,000 applicants. He debuted with GOT7 in 2014 and parted ways with JYP in 2021 after his contract expired. He is currently signed to Sublime Artist Agency, where he continues his solo career.
