On June 16 at 6 PM KST, Kang Daniel released his sixth mini album, "Glow to Haze". Prior to the release, he held a press conference at Switch22 in Parc1, Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, where he shared insights into the album and his creative process.
Kang Daniel expressed his excitement and nerves, saying, “Unlike previous works where I focused solely on my role as a singer, I participated in producing this album as well. As I infused my personal direction and message into the project, I found myself feeling more nervous. I really hope people will enjoy it.”
The album title combines "Glow", representing radiant moments, with "Haze", evoking the blurred feelings of a light mist. The five-track album captures the multifaceted emotions of love through contrasting moods.
The first half brings out the brightness and excitement of love through upbeat sounds, while the second half gradually shifts into the haziness of fading emotions.
Explaining the concept, Kang Daniel said, “Usually, an album revolves around a single keyword, but this time, I wanted to create a gradient-like narrative—transitioning from one emotion to another. It begins with love and traces the gradual dimming of that love.”
