Billlie's Sua remembers her brother ASTRO's Moonbin on the 2nd anniversary of his passing with a cover of 'Always Remember Us This Way' + heartfelt letter

Billlie's Moon Sua remembered her older brother, ASTRO's Moonbin, on the 2nd anniversary of the idol's passing.

On April 19 KST, Sua shared a cover of "Always Remember Us This Way", originally sung by Lady Gaga. The idol sang her cover from a balcony at night with Namsan Tower visible in the background, dedicating her song to the bright moon in the sky.

She also shared a letter addressed to her brother on Instagram, writing,

"Brother, are you doing well?

This is my first time singing a song while thinking about you.

Well, were you touched?

It might not be perfect, but I hope you'll still feel my sincerity.

A lot went through my head while I prepared for this.

It was my first time singing for you, and all.

It made me nervous and cautious.

I guess I wanted to do a good job for you.

I wanted to deliver my feelings in my own way.

Did you know? I'm living well.

There are days when I'm just getting by, there are days when I smile, and there are days when I'm a mess.

But through all those days, I still tried my best to live with spirit.

I thought that if I did that, you would say to me, 'Good job'.

It took me a while to pick the right song too, and in the end, this one felt like the right one.

'I will always remember us this way'.

I think those words fit us somehow.

All those times when I couldn't express myself in front of you because it was too embarrassing.

Every single memory, I'll remember them exactly as they are.

Now, don't go getting upset at me again just because there were times when I didn't think about you.

Even if I don't show it, I'm always thinking about you~

The funny thing is,

I hate it when people think that I'm doing okay,

but I also hate it when people think that I'm not doing okay.

Maybe because this day was coming, but

you showed up in my dreams a few times.

Not too often, but it was still nice seeing you.

Thanks for showing up. Come and see me from time to time like this when you can.

When we meet again, give me a piggy back ride and a hug.

Meanwhile, Sua will be participating in a special single dedicated to Moonbin, "Memory of the Moon", sung by ASTRO and friends of Moonbin. The single will be released on April 19 at 6 PM KST, and all proceeds will be donated to a meaningful cause.
