WOODZ made a surprise appearance on a special National Armed Forces Day episode of KBS variety program 'Immortal Song.'
During the October 5 episode, WOODZ (Jo Seung Youn) delivered a powerful performance of Lee Juk's "Running Through the Sky" alongside fellow enlisted singer Jung Seung Hwan. The two performed for an audience of soldiers, who supported them with enthusiastic cheers. He also performed his self-composed song "Drowning," leaving a strong impression with his vocal performance.
After the episode, WOODZ expressed, "It was an honor to perform for the National Armed Forces Day special, and I was overwhelmed with emotion to stand on a big stage again after a long time. I will always support the hopeful future of all the military personnel protecting South Korea."
Meanwhile, WOODZ has serving in the military since January of this year as part of the Army Band. He is slated to complete his service in July 2025.
