Actor Lee Sun Gyun made his first appearance since his drug controversy began.
On October 28, Lee Sun Gyun was summoned to the Incheon Nonhyeon Police Station for questioning by authorities as he's currently under investigation for illegal drug use. He's also undergoing his first series of drug tests to determine whether he did in fact use drugs and which drugs he did use, and his phone has been confiscated for forensic analysis. The actor has been accused of using various drugs, including marijuana, since early 2023.
Lee Sun Gyun spoke to reporters outside the police station and apologized for his controversy. The actor stated, "Firstly, I sincerely apologize for the amount of disappointment I've brought to so many people because of my involvement in such an unpleasant incident. I would like to bow my head in apology to everyone who's given me trust and support until this time. As I delivered through my agency, I will dutifully participate in the investigation with an honest attitude. I feel very sorry to my family, who is suffering at the moment. I will sincerely and truthfully answer during the investigation."
In other news, Lee Sun Gyun and G-Dragon have been banned from traveling outside South Korea due to their drug investigations.
