GRID confirms launch of new 5-member boy group POW with former Trainee A member Yorch, former 'LOUD' contestant Yoon Dong Yeon

A startup entertainment company GRID will be jumping into the K-Pop rookie boy group pool in 2023. 

On August 1 KST, GRID confirmed the launch of its new 5-member boy group POW. The team is made up of Yorch, a former member of the Big Hit Music debut team Trainee A; the Korean-Filipino contestant Yoon Dong Yeon of the SBS survival program 'LOUD'; as well as Jung Bin, Hyun Bin, and Hong

The team name POW symbolizes the group's aim of delivering a fun and refreshing explosion in the K-Pop industry. So far, POW has opened a series of short launching films ahead of their debut, introducing the group slogan "Creating culture everyday"

POW will debut some time in September of this year.

I'm tentatively intrigued. These little launching teasers don't give away much about the musical direction; that will make all the difference.
