EXO's D.O. will be putting his outer space survival skills to the test in director Kim Yong Hwa's thrilling sci-fi drama film, 'The Moon', premiering on August 2. 

The story revolves around an astronaut who is stranded alone on an unreachable part of the surface of the moon, after South Korea's first ever manned expedition encounters an unexpected accident. EXO's D.O. was cast as Hwang Seon Woo, the young astronaut who must do all he can to survive the most dangerous conditions while waiting for help from earth.

The film also stars veteran actor Seol Kyung Goo as Jae Kook, the former head director of the Korean space center who is desperate to save the young astronaut. Another veteran film actress, Kim Hee Ae, takes on the role of Moon Young, the current director of NASA who is hesitant to offer help. 

Moviegoers will be able to embark an exhilarating sci-fi journey for the first time ever in Korean cinemas while witnessing D.O. bringing his years(?) of EXO Planet outer space exploration experience to life in 'The Moon'.
