Korean netizens are praising BTS for saying 'Seollal' in their official video. 

To celebrate the Korean lunar new year, Seoollal, many K-Pop idols posted their official greetings videos on January 21st. Korean netizens are praising BTS for saying 'Seollal' instead of trying to explain the Korean holiday in generic English terms. The post says "While people are arguing over using lunar new year or Chinese new year, BTS simply posted the video saying Seollal." and many netizens agreed in the comments.  

Some of the comments include: "This is how it should be. Seollal is Seollal." 

"I love how BTS raises cultural awareness. Just like other cultures, we should use more Korean words instead of trying to translate them into generic English terms."
