YouTube confirms BTS' 'Butter' MV breaks record for 'Biggest MV Premiere'

YouTube has confirmed BTS' "Butter" music video has broken the record for 'Biggest MV Premiere.'

On May 21, the YouTube Music Team announced on the official YouTube blog, "BTS breaks their own record for the biggest music video Premiere on YouTube." The "Butter" MV set the new all-time record with over 3.9 million peak concurrent viewers.

BTS previously held the record with over 3 million peak concurrent viewers for their "Dynamite" MV in August of 2020, and they now hold the top 2 spots for the biggest YouTube Premieres to date.
