It's been reported that back on May 26, the police received a report that a male suspect was attempting to film female victims inside a gender neutral public restroom.
After receiving the report, police were dispatched immediately, and arrested the suspect - a male middle school student from Japan. According to reports, the middle schooler was visiting Korea in order to audition for a K-Pop survival program. However, he was not found to be affiliated with any entertainment agency.
The suspect attempted to film women in the public restroom stalls using his mobile phone. A female victim who caught the suspect in the act took the phone from him, and called the police right away.
