(G)I-DLE confronts the end of a relationship in ethereal MV for 'HWAA'

(G)I-DLE has made their first comeback of 2021!

On January 11 KST, the Cube Entertainment girl group unveiled their 4th mini album 'I Burn,' featuring title track "HWAA."

"HWAA" is a moombahton-inspired track that deals with the burning feeling felt after a break-up. Traditional Korean instruments were added to deepen the emotions of the arrangement, which is reminiscent of harsh winter cold and used as a metaphor for the end of a relationship. The single was created by leader Soyeon and Pop Time, who previously worked with the group on "DUMDi DUMDi."
