It's weird how we keep saying them promoting, bringing up their past and trying to make a case for letting go of the past and moving onto bigger things when they have zero presence in the US. Every 2 months or something the same ol American Koreans go on and on about how they started, where they are now, plug their newest song release (which apparently nobody ever cares) and repeat.

You do understand that they bring up the past because that's what the director wants right? How else are you supposed to make a video and know someone with no background information, basic knowledge if you ask me. You're practically implying that you should quit a passion if you don't hit it big? Makes me wonder what you've given up on. Better yet if you've even started anything lmao

Oh they have presence in the US...the same US fans they had when they were strictly doing KPop.
Tiffany's US fans are SNSD fans. ;)

Im glad Amber is out here, still living her best life and dream...I think Jay Park said it best when he said in Korea, everything is done for them, the shows they do, styling, etc.....bjt in America you habe to Hussle for your dream, you have to win your fans, grind for your career, there's no company recruitment and help to develop you as an artist...so you can feel like you didn't earn it. I think about CL of 2NE1 documenting how hard it is in America to do musicbecausethere is no one to do all the things Korean labels do for the artist.

Amber keep working and I'm sure Americans will start paying attention.

Her side profile and facial expressions look so much like Jonghyun.

i never really into amber, and i'm shock, this is the first time i see her as a girl. I usually saw her with f(x) and all other girls are dressed feminine. This is the first time i see her as herself and i got like "wow, she's also a girl"

I don't think that's fair Lani. All of what you said is true, basically, true for all artists. Kpop has been done in the states, off and on for 50 years. Cheerleader groups have been doing it for decades without knowing it was Kpop. Korean-Americans don't have anything to prove upon returning, they've been there and done that so to speak. Moving on to better things is just a natural progression, regardless of where you came from or went to. Rinse and repeat is natural for performers. That's why Van Gogh paintings all, for the most part, look like Van Gogh paintings.

Did you seriously just write that Kpop has been done in the US for 50 years... 😂

amber isn't androgynous

androgynous is those people who when you see them you can't tell if they're a boy or a girl

amber looks like a girl, just an ugly one

there is no world where i would mistake her for a man

I agree. I consider her a tomboy, but not androgynous. Tomboys identify as female but act and dress like males.

Androgynous people don't identify as either male or female but sometimes identify as a combo of both at times. She identifies as female.

EXACTLY

that's how i see her too

i cant imagine seeing amber as a boy. like in the way that hyunjin is a boy. like i can't imagine putting amber next to hyunjin and thinking that's the same thing. or putting amber next to jackson wang and saying thats the same. even though they have a similar look i'd never say "oh that's two boys"

but people on akp....well they don't notice things very well

King of stupidity strikes again. look at her in this interview you fucking halfwit. She clearly comes off as androgynous.. she looks like a little asain boy. No tits.. barely any makeup, little ball cap. Answer me this... Could you picture amber in a ball gown with heavy makeup on? NO? me neither.. cause she looks like a dude!
