After her husband, Enes Kaya, got embroiled in a controversy for allegedly committing adultery with multiple unsuspecting women, Jang Mi Yoon spoke up about this on December 11 through a blog post.

Entitled, "This is Enes Kaya's wife, Jang Mi Yoon," her post went:
"I wondered how our family came to be like this when we were so very happy up to just a few days ago, so I dropped to the floor and cried my eyes out. I think I am going through the most difficult time of my life.
I was very disappointed in my husband and I was also very angry because I felt hurt. I even thought of the most extreme circumstances. Although the things he had done are unforgivable regardless of the reason behind it, I have decided to forgive his mistakes this time and to live a better life. The reality is making it hard for our family to live in Korea.
There is no one who wants to find out the truth about this more than I do. Of course, I am also sorry towards those women. I believe that Enes Kaya's wrongful behavior created misunderstandings and inflicted pain.
However, my husband probably came to realize a lot of things through this incident. Even right now, he is self-reflecting and self-disciplining. I ask that you please refrain from excessive interest [in the situation]."
