T.O.P’s latest release has faced broadcast restrictions, with several tracks deemed unfit for airplay by KBS.
According to the results of KBS’s music review announced on April 8 KST, seven songs from T.O.P’s first full length album ‘Another Dimension’ were ruled ineligible for broadcast. Out of a total of 195 songs reviewed, 188 were approved, while all seven disqualified tracks belonged to T.O.P.
The affected songs include ‘BE SOLID,’ ‘FOR FANS,’ 'SEOUL CHAOS,’ ‘Another Dimension Holy Dude!!!!!!!,’ ‘ZERO-CAKE,’ and ‘Studio54.’ The reasons cited for disqualification include violations of broadcasting regulations, such as lyrics that mention specific brand names—considered a form of indirect advertising—as well as the use of profanity and inappropriate expressions.
The ruling follows T.O.P’s comeback on April 3 with his full length album ‘Another Dimension,’ marking his first solo release in approximately 13 years since ‘Doom Dada.’
While the decision limits the songs’ eligibility for broadcast on KBS platforms, the album continues to draw attention for its bold artistic direction and candid storytelling.
