
BTS will issue refunds after quality issues were found in some official merchandise from their latest tour.
On April 7 KST, HYBE Merch announced via social media that the ‘Global Exclusive’ S/S T-shirt (charcoal) from BTS’s world tour ‘Arirang’ merchandise line had a manufacturing defect.
Following the discovery, sales of the affected item were immediately suspended. The T-shirt has also been removed from all sales channels, including official pop up stores and on site booths at the ‘Arirang in Goyang’ concert.
BigHit Music apologized, stating, “We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and concern caused. We are currently working with the manufacturer to identify the exact cause and will strengthen our quality control processes to prevent similar issues in the future.”
The company added that all affected products will be fully refunded without requiring returns. Further details regarding the refund process and schedule will be announced separately.
