ILLIT has unveiled additional concept photos for their upcoming mini album, further building anticipation for their comeback.
On April 7 KST, Belift Lab released the ‘GRWM’ (Get Ready With Me) version concept photos and film for ILLIT’s fourth mini album ‘MAMIHLAPINATAPAI’ through the group’s official social media channels.
This version connects with the theme of the album’s track ‘GRWM,’ capturing the members as they prepare to start their day. Unlike stage focused visuals, the concept highlights natural moments in personal spaces, including scenes of self makeup, styling, and sharing personal preferences.
Previously, ILLIT drew attention with their unique concept approaches, including a merch themed “gua sha ceramic object” version and the playful ‘PAW PAW’ version featuring animal counterparts for each member. The newly released ‘GRWM’ concept continues to expand the group’s visual storytelling with a more intimate and relatable tone.
The rollout will continue with the ‘FREE RIDER’ version concept photos on April 14, followed by a highlight medley on April 21. Content related to the title track ‘It’s Me’ will be revealed between April 23 and 24, including a campaign film and additional concept images. Music video teasers are scheduled for April 27 and 28, with the full album and music video set to be released on April 30 at 6 PM.
Meanwhile, ILLIT also released their third Japanese digital single ‘Bubee’ on April 6. The track quickly entered the upper ranks of Oricon’s Daily Digital Single Ranking and topped AWA Music’s real time rising chart. A dance challenge choreographed by Japanese choreographer Makida Sako is also gaining traction across short form platforms.
