Upcoming virtual girl group OWIS revealed their debut date through an official trailer and a series of webtoon-style images showcasing the members' visuals.
The debut trailer begins with a voice inviting the viewer to the "Museum of Memories." Accompanied by the narration, "Old memories need to be organized," everyday objects transform into dreamlike motifs as the video constantly blurs the line between reality and the virtual world. The phrase "I am your missing piece" delivers a message about dreams and self-identity, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of an art film.
The accompanying webtoon captures the members' visuals and daily lives. The scenes range from the members running through lush green fields to friendly moments, such as taking group selfies in school uniforms in front of a practice room mirror.
The teaser concluded with the text, "Standing on the sky, we will meet again" showing the members asleep while leaning on one another, sparking the imagination of fans.
OWIS is the first artist launched by ama (all my anecdotes), a new entertainment company founded by CEO Jay Kim and CCO Lee Haein, who is best known to have produced KISS OF LIFE and CLOSE YOUR EYES. The group consists of members Serere, Haru, Summer, Soi, and Yuni.
