NCT's Jeno has uploaded a selfie that has sparked surprise and curiosity among netizens.
On an online forum, netizens discussed that Jeno reportedly shared a mirror selfie with his fans on Bubble but quickly deleted it afterward. The photo shows Jeno, and in his right hand behind his back is what appears to be a mint-colored e-cigarette device.

Given the nature of the photo and its swift deletion, netizens are speculating that it was uploaded entirely by accident.
The photo, showing Jeno in a black tank top, leather pants, and revealing his upper body muscles, is also believed by fans to have been mistakenly shared as something that "was supposed to be cropped."

The only concern raised by netizens is that the photo was taken indoors, prompting discussions about potential controversy related to indoor smoking, similar to incidents involving other K-pop stars such as BLACKPINK's Jennie, NCT's Haechan, and EXO's D.O.
However, there is no concrete evidence of indoor smoking by Jeno. Fans and netizens are questioning why he would "carelessly" share a photo that "so openly shows the e-cigarette."
Meanwhile, some are supporting the idol, noting that "vaping is not illegal and that idols are also adults" who are free to make their own choices.
Reactions include:
"Of all places, it was taken indoors..."
"Is someone going to report it lol"
"I wonder how habitually they smoke indoors to the point of taking a photo and sending it."
"I mean, if it were hidden among things on the table, maybe it wouldn’t be obvious, but this stands out too much lol."
"I don’t like cigarettes either, but they’re an adult and not even smoking here, so it feels a bit off to criticize them for this."
"If the arm had been just 5 centimeters inward, it would have been covered."
"Did they forget to crop it lol."
"Ah lol, this is really hilarious lol."
"But it’s kind of fascinating how people who have been in the industry since they were young smoke…"
"Are they so unaware that they didn’t even recognize what’s in their hand?"
"Did they not realize what they were holding in their hand?"
"At this point, it’s like 'even if they know, it doesn’t matter.'"
"There have been cases of underage idols smoking when they debuted as minors, but smoking as an adult… everyone lives similar lives lol."
"It’s strange why they held it while taking the photo."
"The color pops so much, why didn’t they notice when sending it lol. They could have just cropped the arm holding the phone and it would have been fine."
"Smoking is fine, but at least think before sending the photo, please."
"You can smoke as an adult...but indoors…no..."
"Don’t even think about lighting up indoors, geez."
"How normal does it have to be that they didn’t even notice?"
"Huh, why did they hold it in their hand lol. I thought it was cropped and inside the bag lol."
"At this level, isn’t it like they sent it wanting someone to notice it ㅠ… like giving a secret hint lol ㅠ."
"I didn’t know that photos sent in Bubble could be retrieved."
"Jennie blatantly blew smoke in front of the staff, but it’s not like that this time."
"Having it on hand isn’t a crime, but if they deleted it, they probably know there’s nothing to gain by letting it be seen. Don’t they even check if there’s anything visible before posting?"
"Why did they take a selfie holding it…"
"Unless they’re a minor, smoking is essential. But since they’re a public figure and sending photos to fans, wouldn’t it be better to be careful when taking and sending them?"
"Unless they’re a minor, smoking is fine, but indoor smoking is not allowed!"
"They can smoke, but follow the rules."
"Idols should at least move their cigarettes out of view when taking photos. Why do they always post and delete them?"
"I work in advertising, and idols, actors, and staff do smoke a lot indoors."
"The person who noticed it is amazing lol. The color really pops."
"They could have at least put it in their pocket…."
