Jo Kwon returns as solo artist after 8 years with ‘Like I Do’

Singer Jo Kwon is making his long awaited solo comeback after eight years.
On March 18, his agency Archive Achim announced that Jo Kwon will release his new single ‘Like I Do’ on March 27 at 6 PM KST. The track delivers a message about staying true to oneself and moving forward at one’s own pace rather than conforming to others’ expectations.
The song features contributions from global producers including Mathilde Nyegaard and Noak Hellsing, shaping a refined pop sound that reflects Jo Kwon’s artistic direction.
Ahead of the release, a piano version teaser unveiled on March 17 highlighted his emotional depth and raw sensibility, drawing enthusiastic responses from fans. A pre listening session featuring artists such as J. Y. Park, Uhm Jung Hwa, and Kiiikiii also garnered attention.
Known for his strong vocals and expressive ballads, Jo Kwon is expected to showcase a more polished and contemporary musical style with this release, signaling the start of a new chapter in his solo career.
‘Like I Do’ will be available on major streaming platforms starting March 27.
