
BLACKPINK entered iTunes charts worldwide, signaling the quartet’s successful return.
Shortly after the release of their highly-anticipated comeback project ‘DEADLINE,’ the mini-album climbed to the top of iTunes charts around the world.
‘DEADLINE’ debuted at No. 1 on both the worldwide and European albums iTunes charts. It also reached No. 1 on top iTunes album charts in at least 40 regions, including Brazil, Cambodia, Chile, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Peru, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam, among others.
In addition, the title track “GO” topped the iTunes chart in more than 10 countries.
In other news, ‘DEADLINE’ wrapped up its first-day sales on the Hanteo chart with over 1.46 million copies sold. This makes the ‘DEADLINE’ the highest-selling album among all K-Pop girl groups in Hanteo’s history, breaking the record previously set by aespa’s ‘MY WORLD.’
Meanwhile, ‘DEADLINE’ marks BLACKPINK’s third mini-album featuring five tracks “JUMP,” “GO,” “Me and my,” “Champion,” and “Fxxxboy.”
