Yoo Yeon Seok takes on the role of a lawyer who can see ghosts in SBS-TV’s upcoming Friday-Saturday drama 'Shin Yi Rang's Law Firm.'
On February 4, the production team unveiled a teaser poster for the new series 'Shin Yi Rang's Law Office' (written by Kim Ga Young and Kang Cheol Gyu, directed by Shin Jung Hoon), offering a condensed glimpse into the drama’s unique worldview.
'Shin Yi Rang's Law Office' is a “grudge-resolving adventure” drama. It follows Shin Yi Rang (played by Yoo Yeon Seok), a spirit-possessed lawyer, and cold-blooded elite attorney Han Na Hyun (played by Lee Som) as they work together to bring catharsis by resolving the lingering grudges of the deceased.
The teaser poster depicts the interior of Room 501 in the Okcheon Building, Shin Yi Rang’s law office. It is the place where he first begins to see ghosts, eventually becoming entangled in a series of bizarre cases.
The office walls are adorned with paintings of the Twelve Zodiac Animals and talismans, while a smoking incense burner sits prominently in front. These details suggest that the space is not governed solely by law and logic.
The tagline, “Defending the unseen truth,” also stands out. It succinctly captures Shinirang’s character and hints at his unconventional approach to legal defense—one that goes beyond law and common sense.
The production team explained, “This is a drama where a fantasy premise is naturally layered onto the realistic setting of the courtroom. We aimed to deliver a story with real weight, while adding a fresh and distinctive sense of fun.”
'Shin Yi Rang's Law Office' is set to premiere on March 13 at 9:50 PM on SBS.
