A duet dance performance by singer Sung Si Kyung and Hwa Sa will be unveiled.
According to SBS on February 11 KST, ‘Lunar New Year Special Concert Sung Si Kyung’ — a show encompassing Sung Si Kyung’s 25 year music career — will air on February 14, the first day of the Lunar New Year holiday.
‘Lunar New Year Special Concert Sung Si Kyung’ is the television version of ‘Concert Sung Si Kyung’, which recorded all sold out shows from December 25–28 last year. Marking his 25th debut anniversary, the concert uniquely follows the timeline of Sung Si Kyung’s musical journey.
From his first album hit ‘Like the First Time’ to representative songs such as ‘We Make a Pretty Good Couple,’ ‘It Would Be Good,’ ‘On the Street,’ ‘Goodbye My Love,’ ‘Every Moment of You,’ and ‘Heejae,’ many of Sung Si Kyung’s signature tracks will fill the broadcast. He will also perform ‘Solar System,’ one of the songs he personally cherishes the most. Introducing the track, Sung Si Kyung said, “Composer Kang Seung Won hyung used to sing this song at drinking gatherings, and I told him I wanted to sing it. It portrays a presence seen from a painful distance every night — something you can never get closer to. It doesn’t feel like a song from these days.”
Meanwhile, the broadcast will also feature, for the first time, a bold duet stage with special guest Hwa Sa. Chosen as Hwa Sa’s partner, Sung Si Kyung will join her for a performance of her hit song ‘Good Goodbye,’ presenting a surprising duet dance that is expected to astonish viewers.
Without reruns or OTT release, ‘Lunar New Year Special Concert Sung Si Kyung’ on SBS will air exclusively on TV on February 14 at 8:30 PM.
