The former manager of comedian Park Na Rae has stated that he is taken aback by the one sided accusations and public naming by so called “Injection Aunt” Lee.
On February 16, Park Na Rae’s former manager, referred to as 'A', told Xports News, “I am the person mentioned in the conversation released by Lee, known as ‘Injection Aunt.’ I do not understand why she suddenly called me out at this point.”
'A' firmly denied having any personal relationship with Lee. He emphasized, “Aside from seeing her when I went to pick up Park Na Rae’s medication or when Park Na Rae went to receive injections, we have never met privately.”
Previously, Lee posted a lengthy message on her social media on February 15, publicly criticizing 'A'. She wrote, “You as a manager… If you were truly that worried about Na Rae, why did you go to the media instead of the police? You kept photos secretly taken years ago and KakaoTalk messages, then handed them over to the press under the name of ‘public interest reporting.’ How ironic.”
She continued, “If it was an anonymous tip, why send it so openly to multiple people? If it was out of concern, why does it feel so calculated? If public interest was truly the goal, you would have quietly gone to investigative authorities. There must have been a purpose in choosing a place where sensational headlines are needed and where issues quickly turn into money.”
Lee added, “Thanks to you, I learned a lot, how to trust people, what lines should not be crossed, and that promises are not just private trust between two people. And how to reflect on myself. You, who smiled in front of me and said you loved and appreciated me,” along with the phrase, “One day when stress paralyzed reason.”
She also released past KakaoTalk messages exchanged with A. In the messages, Lee referred to her own past hardships and comforted 'A' by saying, “I feel sorry for you because you remind me of myself,” to which 'A' responded with gratitude. Notably, Lee intentionally revealed 'A'’s real name in the process.
Based solely on the released messages, there appears to be no evidence of a particularly close relationship between the two, leading to further questions about why Lee decided to target 'A' at this time.
Recently, Lee also posted a photo of the Gangnam Police Station building with the cryptic message, “Now it’s your turn. Especially one man.” She further fueled controversy by uploading images resembling the syllables “Jeon” and “Mu,” along with the logo of MBC’s ‘Home Alone,’ seemingly alluding to broadcaster Jun Hyun Moo.
Although she briefly followed the official account of ‘Home Alone’ and Jun Hyun Moo’s SNS before altering her following list, she deleted all of her posts and cleared her entire following list less than a day later.
Meanwhile, Lee, known as “Injection Aunt,” is currently under suspicion for allegedly providing illegal medical services without a license to celebrities including Park Na Rae, SHINee’s Key, and mukbang YouTuber Haetnim.
She is reportedly facing charges related to violations of the Medical Service Act, Pharmaceutical Affairs Act, and the Narcotics Control Act. Lee has stated that she recently underwent nine hours of police questioning. The allegations were also covered on the SBS investigative program ‘Unanswered Questions’ on the 24th of last month.
