Singer Jo Hyun Ah and Lee Mi Joo have opened up about an unbelievable past incident in which they were both entangled in the shameless two-timing antics of the same man.
On the February 16 broadcast of SBS variety show 'No, But Seriously!,' Lee Mi Joo and Jo Hyun Ah appeared as guests and showcased their candid wit. During the episode, Lee Mi Joo drew particular attention as she calmly shared the painful story of being betrayed by a former boyfriend.
“It was a long time ago. It was Christmas,” she recalled. “I couldn’t meet my boyfriend that day because I had something to do.”
However, she received shocking news the following day. “A friend called me and asked if I knew a certain person. I said he was my boyfriend. Then my friend told me that he had called an older unnie from the same group out on Christmas. She even said that the unnie still hadn’t come home,” Lee Mi Joo confessed.
After hearing this, she confronted her boyfriend. “I called him, and he denied it to the very end. So I told him we should break up,” she said, revealing the heartbreaking end to the relationship.
What made the story even more surprising was that Lee Mi Joo later identified the same two-timing man and ended up saving Jo Hyun Ah from getting involved with him as well. Jo Hyun Ah shared, “Mi Joo told me about him too,” exposing the absurd connection they both experienced.
Lee Mi Joo explained that she stepped in when she saw Jo Hyun Ah feeling happy and developing feelings for the man. “I already knew about him. She was talking about him so happily, and I said, ‘Unnie, no.’ Then I told her everything,” she recalled.
She did not hold back in criticizing him. “I told her he liked me, too. When he was telling Jo Hyun Ah he liked her, he was also saying he liked someone else. He was confessing to multiple people at the same time. He even cried and begged me to date him. He’s really trash,” she said bluntly.
